I also tried the Ergohuman with the leather seat. It was very nice, but it's still significantly more expensive than the Raynor Apollo, which I am still loving.

You discovered one of those little secrets that few consumers understand. Mesh seats are popular but not a good choice for all day use as they distribute body weight poorly and they are abrasive to clothing. Plus the plastic frame that holds a mesh seat can hurt, as you've discovered. The Raynor Apollo is a good chair for the price - quite comfy. The Ergohuman is also a real bargain for its price as it competes quite well with many chairs costing twice as much. What you didn't know is that the Ergohuman is available with a mesh back and leather seat, in all leather or in your choice of a nice selection of custom fabrics with only a minimal upcharge. The leather seat/mesh back version is usually about $10 more; all leather $20 more. I bought a leather/mesh combo Ergohuman from www.thehumansolution.com. I've been quite happy with it and I've had it about 4 months. I like it a lot better than the Aeron I had at my old job. It was always too big so I had to sit cross-legged because the seat wasn't adjustable.
