Just for the record, I do also own a "real" Mac computer; a MacBook Pro that has served me very well. But I think Apple's requirement to run their operating system on their hardware when it can easily run on any Intel processor is only promoting their interests and not mine. It's not about the money so much. I don't want or need a Mac Pro. I already have a great desktop computer and if it is capable of running Mac OS, I'm going to run the Mac OS on it. I don't want a second computer. I also enjoy the learning process incredibly. Dealing with these issues is how you get to know your computer better. When things "just work" you might not know how to fix them when they break down.

I don't want any donations. If you want to support me, buy my DVD, buy some merchandise, watch my films on Vuze or Revver, or look at the ads on my site and click on them if you find them relevant and interesting.

Or you could simply go out and buy a real Mac computer.

I'm not trying to be flip about it, but a guy with your kind of name recognition should think twice before blogging about a pirated operating system.

 *shrugs*

If I were you, I'd include a PayPal donation link on your page and use the proceeds to buy a smokin' Quad Core MacPro -- A refurb Quad can be had from the Apple Store for about $1700.00.

Hell, I've enjoyed your films a great deal and would make a donation towards the effort myself.

Just a thought.
